Bánh bao

Bánh bao are Vietnamese wheat flour dumplings stuffed with chicken, beef or pork, mushrooms ( " shiitake " ), Chinese smoked pork sausage, onions, cut glass noodles and eggs.

Without stuffing they taste like German yeast dumplings.

Similar dumplings are known in Indonesia as Bakpao and in the Netherlands as Bapao.
