The Bankers Life Fieldhouse is an event arena in Indianapolis, Indiana ( USA), among others, home of the NBA's Indiana Pacers. It was opened Arena on November 6, 1999. In December 2011, the hall, which was known under the name of Conseco Fieldhouse previously was named after the insurance company Bankers Life and Casualty.

History

The hall is since 1999 since 2000, the WNBA team Indiana Fever home of the Pacers and. From 2001 to 2004, the Arena Football Team Indiana Firebirds of the AFL wore out their games at Conseco Fieldhouse. This hall has a capacity of 18,345 seats for basketball matches. In ice hockey or football games 14,400 spectators place. In 2002, the former Conseco Fieldhouse served as one of two venues of the Basketball World Championship 2002 ( next to the RCA Dome). 2004 Short Course World Championships were held in swimming in this venue.

For the season 2012/2013, the hall was renovated. The most striking modification step was the installation of a new video cube in the main hall. Along with the Toyota Center in Houston now offers the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the largest video wall all NBA arenas.
