Bantia Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden Bantia in Burkina Faso is a protected from human intervention and fire surface Sudanese savannas and wetlands, enriched by planting local species of plants. It was founded in 2001.
Location and infrastructure
About 10 km south of the town of Fada N'Gourma located on the road to Pama, it comprises about 10 ha paths lead to the different habitats and a central relaxation area. In addition, the garden includes a small museum and an existing guest house of some rondavels.
Stock
The garden area is home to about 116 species of trees and 110 herbaceous plant species. Furthermore, it is above many species of birds, crocodiles and turtles.
