Baoguo Temple (Ningbo)

The Baoguo Temple or Temple to protect the state (保 国寺Chinese, Pinyin Bǎoguó sì ) is a Buddhist temple in the city of Jiangbei District of Ningbo in Zhejiang province, China. Its main hall from the year 1013 of the Song Dynasty is the oldest wooden southern China.

The temple stands since 1961 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 1-90)

Originally called the Temple Lingshan Temple (灵山寺), but was renamed 880 in the Tang Dynasty.
