Barack (brandy)

Barackpálinka is a native of Hungary Brandy ( pálinka ) with a minimum alcohol content of 37.5 %.

It is made from apricots (Hungarian: Barack ), which is grown in the Great Hungarian Plain, baked and aged in oak barrels, which gives it a golden yellow color. Barackpálinka itself may only call when the fruits come exclusively from Hungarian harvest as authentic. Burning barackpálinka has been known for at least 500 years.
