Bárbara Bonola

Bárbara Leticia Jiménez Bonola (* 1987 in Xalapa, Veracruz ) is a Mexican professional triathlete.

In the ranking of the Mexican Triathlon Federation for 2009 Bonola is ranked 5 in place in the elite U23 category and instead of 9 in the general elite category, but it took only one of eleven national, evaluated for the ranking, race part (Monterrey). In 2010 Bonola fell back to 13th place in the elite U23 ranking.

In Mexico, Barbara Bonola represents the club Veratrix, which also her coach Eugenio Domínguez Chimal belongs, as well as by her father, the Mexican triathletes Vladimir Bonola Pérez, established in early 2009 Club Triathlon Sports Xalapa. In the Mexican Nacional Olimpiada it ranks for years among the top ten, in 2009 she was number 9 in her age group (20-23), 2010, she was number 8

Since 2007, Barbara Bonola takes part in ITU competitions, since 2008, she regularly achieves both the U23 and in the elite class top ten places at Pan- America Cup and Championships. Also in ITU World Championships, she went in 2007 as a member of the Mexican team at the start: in Hamburg ( 2007), she was 13, in Vancouver (2008) and on the Gold Coast (2009), respectively 10, but not in the U23 category, but in the Age Group 20-24. At the Gold Coast occurred in 2009 in either the U23 or the elite class Mexicans to, Bonola was behind Michelle Flipo ( 7 ) second best of their team.

Barbara Bonola studied at the Escuela de Administración de Empresas Turísticas the University of Xalapa.
