Barbara Favola

Barbara A. Favola ( born June 21, 1955 in New London, Connecticut) is an American politician (Democratic Party). Since 2012 she is Senator in the Senate of Virginia, representing the 31st district there.

Life

Favola attended St. Joseph College in 1977 and received a Bachelor of Science (BS ). She then studied at New York University and graduated in 1980 with a Master of Public Administration (MPA ) from.

In 2011 she was selected for the 31 District in the Senate of Virginia. Prior to her appointment she was a member of 14 years the Arlington County Board.

Favola is married and has a son.
