Barbara Levick

Barbara Levick ( born June 21, 1931 in London) is a British Althistorikerin.

Barbara Levick was educated at Brighton and Hove High School and at St Hugh 's College, Oxford. She was Lecturer in Classics 1956 until 1959. Since 1959 Levick was until her retirement in 1998 Fellow of St Hilda 's College, Oxford. Also was Levick 1956-1991 librarian at St Hilda 's College. Levick was known by numerous biographies of Roman emperors and conquerors.
