Barbara Shelley
Barbara Shelley ( born August 15, 1933, London; native Barbara Kowin ) is a British actress.
She started as a model and came since the beginning of the 1950s to her first small film roles, first in Italy. In 1956 she returned to England. With the low-budget film Nights of strangler, she was known in 1957. In the following years she established herself as a star of British horror cinema. In the classic Village of the Damned, she played the mother of a vehicle equipped with supernatural powers boy. In the 1960s it was used several times at specialized horror scenario Hammer films. After Shelley was often represented in television productions.
