Bargi Dam

The Bargi Dam is one of the first completed dams a chain of 30 major dams to be built on the Narmada in Madhya Pradesh in India. Two major irrigation projects named Bargi Diversion Project and Rani - Avantibai - Lodhi Sagar Project already exist.

The dam is 69 m high and 5357 m long. The dam is about 75 km long and 4.5 km wide and extends with full back over 268 km ² in the districts of Jabalpur, Mandla and Seoni.
