Barkla (crater)

Barkla is an impact crater near the eastern edge of the Earth's moon. It is located east of the crater striking Langrenus and west of approximately the same size crater Kapteyn. In the southwest is the crater Lamé.

The rim of Barkla forms from slight bulges in the northeast and southwest an almost perfect circle. The crater walls have only small traces of erosion on by later impacts. At the center of the crater floor, a central peak, originating from the low hills to the south and north-east rises.
