Barnaby Jones is an American crime drama series from producer Quinn Martin. It is an offshoot of the series Cannon.

Action

The private investigator Barnaby Jones comes after many years of professional experience in board and gives his detective agency to his son Hal on. However, this is assassinated shortly thereafter during an investigation. Jones returns from retirement and joins forces with his daughter in law to convict the murderer. When successful, both decide to cooperate in the future and to run the detective agency henceforth together.
