Barocco sempre giovane

Barocco semper giovane (Baroque is always young ) is a Czech chamber ensemble consisting of young musicians and is dedicated to the music of the High Baroque.

History

The Barocco semper giovane was founded in 2004 by cellist Josef Krečmer. Since then, the ensemble has played at concerts, produced CDs and collaborated with Czech Television and Czech Radio.

It organizes its own cycle of subscription concerts in Pardubice. The ensemble focuses on the Baroque period, but the performers are also devoted to the music of the classical and the contemporary music composer Luboš Sluka, Slavomír Horinka, Vít Zouhar.
