Baron Mountevans

Baron Mount Evans, of Chelsea in the County of London, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, which is run by the Evans family.

Award

The title was created in 1945 for the Antarctic explorer and admiral of the Royal Navy Sir Edward Evans. This was supported, among others, Robert Falcon Scott on his tragic Terra Nova expedition.
