Barry Flanagan
Barry Flanagan ( born January 11, 1941 in Prestatyn, Wales, † 31 August Eulalia del Río, Ibiza, 2009) was a British sculptor.
Life
He studied at Birmingham College of Art and Crafts (1957-1958), after he studied at St. Martin's School of Art in London in 1964. From 1967 to 1971 he lectured at the St. Martin's School of Art and the Central School of Arts and Crafts.
He took part in Documenta 5 in Kassel in 1972 in the Department of Individual Mythologies: representing video and at the Documenta 7 in 1982 as an artist. In 1982 he represented Britain at the Venice Biennale.
