Barry Madlener

Barry Madlener ( born January 6, 1969 in Leiden) is a Dutch politician of the Partij voor de Vrijheid.

Life

Madlener grew up in the village Oostvoorne. After leaving school he worked as a real estate agent. On 14 March 2002, he was a member of the city council of Rotterdam for Leefbar Rotterdam, the ideological party leader Pim Fortuyn followed. After the death of Pim Fortuyn Madlener 2005 was a member of the Partij voor de Vrijheid (PVV ). From 30 November 2006 to July 14, 2009 Madlener was a member of the Second Chamber of the States General. Since July 14, 2009 Madlener is Member of the European Parliament and at the same time in this Parliament spokesperson on the PVV for the PVV. On September 19, 2012, he resigned this mandate, he returned to the Second Chamber, to which he was elected in the parliamentary elections of 2012.
