Barry Maguire

Barry Maguire ( born October 27, 1989 in Tiel ) is a Dutch football player with Irish roots. Since the summer of 2013, the Defensive Specialist is the Dutch second division side FC Den Bosch under contract.

Career

Association

Maguire played at a local club in his hometown before he was spotted by the scouts of FC Den Bosch. Finally, this attracted him to Den Bosch, where he rose to the senior squad of the club at the age of 17 years. In September 2006, the defensive midfielder with FC Dordrecht came to his pro debut. Even standing in the starting lineup, he played at its premiere by the full ninety minutes. After two good years personally in the Eerste Divisie, the FC Utrecht took him under contract. When Eredivisie representatives Maguire came in the first year to eighteen league bets. When FCU he had contract until 2012, but changes to the 2011/12 season to VVV -Venlo.

National

Maguire is eligible to play for the Irish and for the Dutch national team. He played for the youth teams of the two countries, but preferred the last Oranje. On 27 January 2009 he received an invitation for the first time the Irish U -21, but declined as early as the following day.
