Barthélémy Aneau

Barthélémy Aneau, occasionally Barthélémy Anneau, (* 1510 in Bourges, Cher Dept, .. † 1561 in Lyon, Dept. Rhône) was a French writer and humanist.

After his studies, they picked Aneau to Lyon at the Collège de la Trinité and entrusted him there, among other things with a teaching of rhetoric. In 1542, he was also promoted to the head.

Corpus Christi 1561 Aneau was suspected along with some colleagues of Protestantism and killed in the unrest resulting therefrom on or near the Collège de la Trinité.
