Bartolommeo Ramenghi

Bartolomeo Ramenghi (* 1484 in Bagnacavallo, † 1542 in Bologna ), called il Bagnacavallo, was an Italian painter.

He was a pupil of Francesco Francia, then an imitator of Raphael, under which he is said to have worked according to Giorgio Vasari in Rome as an assistant. In his mature work, he reveals, however, more the influence of Dosso Dossi.
