Bartosz Bereszyński (2011)

Bartosz Bereszyński ( born July 12, 1992, Poznan, Poland ) is a Polish footballer. It is primarily used as a striker.

Career

Bereszyński began his career in the youth teams of TPS Winogrady Poznan, Poznan and Warta Poznan Poznaniak before he was brought to the youth department of Lech Poznan 2008. There he was brought a year later in the second team and in January 2010, the recording was followed in the senior squad. His debut in the top Polish league gave the striker on March 21, 2010 compared Jagiellonia Białystok, when he came on in the 87th minute for the Bosnians Semir Štilić. The game was won 2-0. Another league game followed. At the end of the season Bereszyński was Polish champion with his team. In the season 2011/12 Bereszyński was loaned to second division and city rival Warta Poznań. There he was a regular player. For the 2012/13 season he returned to Lech Poznan. In January 2013, he refused to extend his contract ending in June 2013 for another three years. On the same day the League rival Legia Warsaw announced the commitment of Bereszyński for 2013/14 season. He signed a three-year contract by the end of June 2016. Thereupon Bereszyński was removed from Lech Poznan for the second half of 2012/13 from the squad for the first team and put in the second team in the separate junior league Młoda Ekstraklasa. Ten days later, the two clubs agreed on a transfer early.

Others

His father is former footballer Przemysław Bereszyński (* 1969), who also spent much of his career at Lech Poznan.
