Bashkaus River

The Baschkaus (Russian Башкаус ) is a left tributary of the Chulyshman in the Russian Republic of Altai.
The river has its source in the Altai Mountains in the south of the Altai Republic. It flows in a northwesterly direction, then in a northerly direction before it flows into the Chulyshman. The Baschkaus has a length of 219 km. The catchment area covers 7770 km ². The Baschkaus has many rapids and is considered one of the hardest kayaking waters of Russia.
