BaÅŸyayla

Başyayla is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Karaman. The city is located about 70 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital of Karaman.

The district is located in the southwest of the province. It is bordered on the north by the province of Konya, in the east and south by Ermenek and to the west by Sarıveliler. North of town is the mountain Turansah Dagi.

Near Başyayla the ancient town Lauzados, are obtained from the scant remains.
