Bat-Ochiryn Ser-Od

Bat- Otschiryn Ser - Od (Mongolian Бат - Очирын Сэр - Од, born October 7, 1981 in Ulaanbaatar ) is a Mongolian long- distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

At the World Athletics Championships 2003 in Paris / Saint- Denis, he finished 63rd at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, the 75th, at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki the 61st and at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka 55th position.

At the Beijing Marathon 2007 he came to 14th place and presented with 2:16:22 h on a national record he who was held as a test run for the Olympic Games in Beijing the following year as the winner of the Good Luck Beijing Marathon, improved to 2:14:15 h. During the actual Olympic marathon, he came on the 52nd place. In the same year he was appointed as fifth overall in the Hong Kong Marathon runner- Asian champions.

At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, he finished 29th place in 2:17:22 h and was thus in the front half of the field. In 2010 he was third in Hong Kong, the sixth Zheng - Kai- Marathon and won the Brighton Marathon. In the autumn he was tenth at the Berlin Marathon and won the marathon Hofu.

In 2011, he was ninth in the London Marathon, finished at the World Championships in Daegu on the 20th place and finished sixth at the Beijing Marathon. The following year he was second in the Beppu - Oita Marathon and fourth in Brighton. At the Olympic Games in London, he finished the marathon the 51st place.

In the World Half Marathon Championships in Brussels in 2002, he came on the 96th and 2005 in Edmonton on the 56th.
