Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman

Batman - Mystery of the Batwoman is an animated film based on the Batman animated series from 1992 to 1999. The rotated by Curt Geda 2003 film was released on 6 November 2003 by Warner Home Video on DVD.

Action

In Gotham City, a new super hero emerges: Batwoman. The press and even Batman puzzle to the identity of the imitative in manner and method Batman woman. Kathy is now on the way to a ship again to transport weapons to blow up. However, it is captured by Bane and unmasked. Batman, Robin, Sonia and Rocky take on the fight against the four villains and can liberate Kathy. However, this is beyond the ship into the air and brings all at risk. While Batman fights Bane, Sonia and Rocky try the Penguin and Thorne stopped. With the help of Robin they succeed in this as well. Kathy, meanwhile, is rescued at the last second by her father. Batman and Bane doing that plunges into the burning wreck of the ship.

After the showdown Sonia left the service, but relieved before that Rocky's fiance. Bruce Wayne goes out with Kathy, who has with her father, who wants to testify against his former partner, reconciled.

Background

The film was made four years after the end of the Batman animated series. As a voice actor, the old cast could be resuscitated, only the penguin was in contrast to the series by David Ogden Stiers spoken. The screenplay is based on a story by Alan Burnett and was written by Michael Reaves.

The French singer Cherie occurs as an animated character in the film and sings her song Betcha Never by their self-titled debut album from 2004.
