Batman The Ride is a Inverted Coaster model of the manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard. The first roller coaster with this track layout was opened at Six Flags Great America (Illinois, USA) on May 9, 1992.

As Batman The Ride it also runs next to the Great America park in the sister parks Great Adventure, Magic Mountain, Over Georgia, Over Texas and St. Louis. After Hurricane Katrina, the park Six Flags New Orleans and thus the roller coaster was Batman: The Ride closed. This was opened in 2008 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas as Goliath again.

This model is also in other parks outside of the Six Flags chain. Among Entertainment City, Himeji Central Park, La Ronde, Parque Warner Madrid and SeaWorld San Antonio. The roller coaster Gambit in Thrill Valley was concluded on 6 May 2002 and after Six Flags New Orleans as Batman: The Ride offset.

Ride

After the train was pulled in 30.5 m height, followed by the first drop, which leads to the left or right. There follow three inversions succession: First, the loop is traversed. After the Zero-G roll comes the second loop. A left and right turn (or right and left curve) leads to the first corkscrew before the train after another curve reaches the second corkscrew.

The Batman The Ride roller coasters have two trains of eight cars. In each car four people can (a series ) take place. As restraint system come shoulder strap for use.
