The Battle of Lobositz (also Lowositz ) took place between the Prussian and the Imperial Austrian Army 1st October 1756.

Frederick the Great conquered it in the Seven Years War, the Austrians under Field Marshal Browne, who wanted to come to the help Struppen far from Pirna enclosed Saxon army.
