The Baumholder Army Airfield is an Army Airfield in the U.S. Army at the NATO military training area near Baumholder Baumholder in the western Rhineland- Palatinate. It is located about 1.5 km from the center of the village Reichenbach and about 5 kilometers north of Baumholder. The airfield has a 572 m long paved runway and landing strip in alignment 07 /25, thereby undercutting the only just 9 km away Sonderlandeplatz Hoppstädten- Weiersbach to 98 meters. On the airport grounds include two hangars and a tower. The Airfield is operated by the 1st Armored Division.
