BC Dynamo Saint Petersburg

The Basketbolny club Dynamo St. Petersburg (Russian баскетбольный клуб « Динамо » Санкт - Петербург ) was founded in 2004 and took over the license of Awtodor Saratov in what was then Russia's highest league Super League Russia and also a starting place in the third European club competition FIBA Europe League, which now better is known as the euro Challenge. History

Under coach David leaf they reached the Final Four tournament of FIBA ​​Europe League in Istanbul in the first season. With the final victory over BK Kiev they won all twenty games in this competition. In the semifinals of the tournament had already been the national competitor BK Khimki defeated, against whom one fifth of normal time in the quarter-final play-offs but was eliminated in the Russian championship.
