BC Zepter Vienna
BC Vienna scepter is a basketball club from Vienna. The club was founded in 2001 on the initiative of Wolfgang Jagsch, Klaus Stubenvollstrasse and Goran Vasic as BC Basket Clubs of Vienna. After 5 seasons in the 2nd Bundesliga, the club has been playing the 2006/07 season in the Bundesliga. 2010 merged the Basket Clubs of Vienna with the second division Basket 2000 BC Vienna. In the season 2011/ 12 financial year the BC Vienna reached the playoffs for the Bundesliga. Since the 2012/13 season, the name of the club is scepter BC Vienna. Furthermore, the first league title could be brought in the young club history in the season. For the 2013/14 season Darko Russo was hired as the new coach, but was allowed to go back four months and was replaced by the former Austrian coach Neno Ašćerić.
