Beacon Fell, Cumbria

The Beacon Tarn is a lake in the Lake District, Cumbria, England. The Beacon Tarn lies at the southern foot of Beacon Fell in the Blawith Fells west of Coniston Water. The lake has no apparent inflow. The Tarn Beck makes its outflow at the southern end of the lake.

The Beacon Tarn is mentioned in the children's book series Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome as the place where the figure of Captain Flint teaches fly fishing.
