Beals Wright

Beals Coleman Wright ( born December 19, 1879 in Boston, Massachusetts, † August 23 1961 in Alton, Illinois) was an American tennis player.

Career

In 1905, he won the U.S. Open in men's singles. In addition, he stood with the American team in the same year in the final of the Davis Cup. At the Olympic Games in 1904 he also won the gold medal in men's singles. In 1956, the induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
