Beata Kempa

Beata Kempa ( born February 11, 1966 in Sycow ) is a Polish politician, since 2005 Member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Legislature, former State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice in the government of Jarosław Kaczyński.

In 1990 she finished the study of management at the University of Breslau. From 1998 to 2005 she was councilor of Sycow. For several years she worked as a social worker for adults. In 2002 she competed in the elections to the European Parliament unsuccessfully for a seat as an MEP, she received 5,685 votes.

In the parliamentary elections in 2005, she was on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS) for the constituency of Wrocław Members of the Sejm. From 22 May 2006 to 15 November 2007 she was State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice.

In the 2007 parliamentary elections it was with 10,228 votes for the second time MP for the PiS. She is Deputy Chairman of the Sejm Commission for Justice, as well as a member of the Sejm Commission for MPs Affairs and the Commission of Inquiry to investigate the circumstances of death of Barbara Blida.
