Beata Mazurek

Beata Mazurek (* October 19, 1967 in Ostrow Mazowiecka ) is a Polish politician, sociologist and since 2005 Member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Legislature.

She ended the private general education Lyceum of the Order of the Sisters of the Risen Lord in Warsaw. In 1991, she was Magistra of Sociology at the Catholic University of Lublin. They also finished the Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Lublin postgraduate studies for management in the administration and in the Local Self-Government and for European administration and self- administration at the Humanist Academy in Pultusk.

She was chairman of the municipal council society for people with disabilities in Chelm and co-author of an action program for equal opportunities and integration of disabled people in this city.

In the 2005 parliamentary elections, she was elected with 7,012 votes on the list of PiS for the electoral district of Chelm in the Sejm. V. During this election period she sat in the Sejm Commission for EU affairs. The Sejmwahlen 2007, she was confirmed for the PiS with 15,821 votes as a Member. During the VI. Election period, it is a member of Sejm committees for EU affairs and social policy.
