Beaumes-de-Venise
Beaumes -de -Venise ( occitan.: Baumas de Venisa or Baumo de Veniso ) is a municipality with 2360 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in France and is located in the department of Vaucluse, in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur. Beaumes -de -Venise is part of the Association of Municipalities Communauté d' agglomà Ventoux -Comtat venaissin. The community is located south of the small mountain massif of the dentelles de Montmirail.

The residents of the community are called Balméens.
Part of the agricultural land is used for viticulture, and the vineyards lie within the protected designations of origin Beaumes -de -Venise, Muscat de Beaumes -de -Venise and Côtes du Rhône. A majority of the wineries also farmed areas of the nearby appellation Côtes du Luberon.
