The monastery Beaupré ( Picardy ) ( Bellum pratum not to be confused with the monastery Beaupré ( Lorraine ) and the nuns Abbey, Beaupré (Flanders) ) is a former Cistercian abbey in the village of Achy in Oise in the Picardie region of France. It was around 2 km south-east from Marseille -en- Beauvaisis, the creek Petit- Thérain.

History

The monastery was founded in 1135 on land that had provided the lords of Milly, and inhabited by a Convention of Kloster Ourscamp. Thus, it belonged to the filiation of Clairvaux Abbey Primary. The monastery had the Gran Gien Caurroy, Brombos and Briot -la -Grange and the courts Woimaison and Ovillers and the forest of Malmifait. It was in 1346 by Edward III. destroyed by England. When it came to an end, is not sure to identify (possibly 1791). In the 19th century, the buildings were used for a cotton mill and then sold for demolition.

The church has completely disappeared. Get to have the dining room of the guest tract and the entrance gate and parts of the surrounding wall and the remains of the monastery mill.
