The movie Beautiful Boxer ( Thai: บิวตี้ ฟู ล บ๊ อก เซอร์ ) of Ekachai Uekrongtham tells the true life story of Parinya Charoenphol, a Thai boxer that a gender reassignment surgery underwent to become physically a woman.

The film shows all the important stages of their lives from life in the role of a boy who like to wear lipstick, about the start as a kick - boxer at the age of 12 years up to the sensational career as a Thai boxer through the mastery of traditional Muaythai style. She had learned that style to perfection and brought it to fame and notoriety. Finally, the internal gender conflict, which then leads to the operation and to resign as Thai boxer, documented.
