Beaver Creek is located in southwestern Minnesota on the Coteau des Prairies mentioned plateau, which extends to the south to Iowa and South Dakota to the west. The town lies on the left bank of Beaver Creek, a tributary of the opening into the Missouri Big Sioux River.
