Becoming the Archetype

Becoming the Archetype is a Progressive-/Death-Metal-Band from Atlanta, Georgia. Her name is inspired by a passage from the book first book of Moses.

Biography

The band formed in 1999 under the name of The Remnant. The band was only in 2003 recorded a demo entitled Death, Destruction and Mayhem on. A year later, the band released a self-titled album, which the label Solid State Records became aware of them and took them under contract. However, the band released a new concept and named in Becoming the Archetype order, so that the members wanted to return their religious beliefs to the outside. Next, the band toured with the new name throughout the United States and published in late 2005 their first album, Terminate Damnation, which was mastered by the Danish producer Tue Madsen. Her style includes a mixture of Death Metal, Metalcore and classical elements. On 30 July 2006, the band announced on their website that guitarist Sean Cunningham is leaving the band to make his college degree. After that he wants to devote a career outside of the band, but will remain available for one or the other musical project of the band, according to BTA. In addition, it was announced that Alex Kenis, guitarist and songwriter of the band Aletheian, member of Becoming the Archetype is. The second album of the band entitled " The Physics of Fire" was published in 2007. The third opus called " Dichotomy ", was produced by Devin Townsend and was published on November 22, 2008 via Solid State Records. The now fourth album "Celestial Completion " was published on March 29, 2011. Thematically, it is the end of the world, but not in the sense of apocalypse, but full of hope and joy. It was produced by Matt Goldman, who has worked with other great band like Underoath or The Chariot.
