Beer (lunar crater)

9:06

Beer is a small crater in the eastern part of the Mare Imbrium. It is located less than 5 km southeast of the crater Feuillée and forms a pair of twins almost the same crater. In the West, the small but conspicuous crater crater Timocharis emerging.

Beer is much like its twin Feuillée circular and bowl -shaped. The sharp-edged crater has no particular signs of erosion and dont let miss conspicuous mark. The relatively small crater floor is located in the center of the steep crater interior walls. The crater inside has a higher albedo than the surrounding surface, which indicates a fairly young crater. A series of micro- craters extends arcuately from its edge to the southwest. South-east rises a shield volcano, which has approximately the same diameter as the crater.

The sea in the east is brighter than the rest of the Mare Imbrium and this coloration extends to the foot of the Montes Archimedes.
