Beerenburg

Beer Castle is a herbal spirit based on the gin. The alcohol content is about 30 vol - %. The Beer Castle is nowadays considered as a Westfrisian specialty, although the original beerenburg was prepared from the mid-17th century, according to a secret recipe of herbs Amsterdam merchant Hendrik Beer castle.

The names Berenburg ( a e) and Burger Beer is used by some brands with a different recipe.
