Beetle Adventure Racing

Beetle Adventure Racing is a racing game published in 1999 for the Nintendo 64 was jointly developed by Paradigm Entertainment and Electronic Arts and published by Electronic Arts.

Although the game already includes the new Volkswagen New Beetle, many features such as the music and the content level are due to the 1970s.

Stretch

After the third round, the player will also be forced with a shut-off on a path to go to the finish.

The routes are fictitious or are inspired by real environments.

Coventry Cove

The easiest route in the game. You drive through a hot-air balloon competition, a huge cliff waterfall, through an old village, boat docks, on sidings, Stonehenge, mines and mining through a ruined castle along with a monastery.

Mount Mayhem

An easy route with many abbreviations hazards is through a small village, a crystal cave and many winding hills. In addition, a navigable ski jump to find.

Inferno Isle

  • Difficulty: Medium
  • Venue: Adventure Island

A more sophisticated way. The route begins at a beach, through a Jurassic Park exhibit, where a T -Rex waiting to catch a Beetle is through a densely populated village on the lake, by a volcano, to a burning village.

Sunset Sands

A curvy route. Coming off the path, you lose the easy orientation. The route leads mostly through a desert. In addition, you drive through numerous temples, a huge pyramid, a city in the desert and an oasis over.

Metro Madness

This route is very winding. Ranging over a highway you drive through the city. In the town the route goes through an entertainment district, a channel and an industrial area. The numerous abbreviations such as a cinema, an elevated railway line, a casino and a hotel be many ways to achieve a good seat. The route ends at the railway station in the industrial area.

Wicked Woods

Hazards is mainly in a dark forest. During the trip, you get to old windmills passing on one level, a bell tower, a gloomy little village and a dragon's cave full of gold. HSV Adventure Racing

Multiplayer

The game can be played with up to four players.

Two players

In the two- player modes you can take the courses for two with computer players.

Four players

With two to four players can use the so-called " Beetle Battle" mode. Who will find the first six differently colored beetles in the arena and crossed the finish line wins the game. On the ESRB website Beetle Adventure Racing was listed as hearty game in the Virtual Console. The date is yet to be set. Whether there are changes or add- ons or even the HSV Adventure Racing version is available for download, is also unclear.
