Begin (Japaneseビギン) is a band from the island of Ishigaki (Japanese石垣岛) in the Japanese prefecture of Okinawa.

General

Initially Begin played a mix of blues and folk rock, but they recollected at the end of the nineties, to play the beginning of 2000 more and more to their origin from the Ryukyu Islands, and turned their way, and the choice of instruments from then. Members

The members of the band are Eisyo Higa (比 嘉 栄 升) ( vocal); Masaru Shimabukuro (岛 袋 优) (guitar & backing vocals ) and Hitoshi Uechi (上 地 等) (keyboards & background vocals). In its more than 20 - year history, the band always stayed in their original occupation.

Ichi -go Ichi- e

Ichi -go Ichi- e (Jap.一 期 一 会) actually stands for " A single meeting in life ."
