Beglik Tash

Beglik Tashkent or Begliktasch (also Beglik Tash, or Begliktash, Bulgarian Бегликташ or Беглик Таш ), Bulgaria, is a religious complex that used by the 14th century BC to the 6th century AD as a rock sanctuary was and its stone remains have been partially preserved. The sanctuary Beglik Tashkent is located in the highest part (128 m above sea level) of the same cape, which is part of the Cape Maslen nos, about 3 km north of Primorsko. The sanctuary covers an area of ​​0.6 ha, was built by the Thracians and was part of the ancient city Ranuli at the mouth of the river Ropotamo into the Black Sea.

The wooded territory where the shrine is located, once belonged to the hunting lodge of the former communist leader Todor Zhivkov government ( reign 1954-1989 ). For this reason, it remained unknown to science until 2003.
