Begoña Fernández Molinos ( born March 22, 1980 in Vigo) is a Spanish handball player.

Career

Fernández first professional stop was the Spanish club Millar L'Eliana Valencia, for which she ran aground 1998-2002. As of 2003, it stood at SD Itxako under contract. In 2005, the district runner ORSAN Elda Prestigio joined with which they won the championship in 2008. Three years later she returned to SD Itxako. With Itxako she won in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 the championship, the Spanish Cup in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and the EHF Cup in 2009. During summer 2012, she joined the Serbian first division zrk Zaječar. In December 2012, she left Zaječar and signed a contract with the Macedonian first division zrk Vardar SCBT. With Vardar won the 2013 league and cup double.

Fernández played 172 internationals for the Spanish national team, in which they scored 372 hits. With Spain, they took second place at the European Championship 2008. In addition, she was elected to the All-Star Team of the EM. At the World Cup 2009 she was re-elected to the All-Star Team. In summer 2012, Fernández participated in the Olympic Games in London, where she won the bronze medal. In January 2014, it declared its withdrawal from the national team.
