Behzod Abdurahimov

Behzod Abduraimov ( born October 11, 1990 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan ) is an Uzbek pianist.

Life

Abduraimov began playing the piano at the age of five years. Already at the age of eight he made ​​his debut with the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan. Concerts in the U.S., Italy and Russia followed. He played repeatedly at the Spivakov Foundation and the " International Summer Academy " in Como (Italy). In 2008, he won the " Young Artist Competition Lennox " and " Corpus Christi Competition". In 2009, he won a 18- year-old with his rendition of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3, surprisingly, the " London International Piano Competition ". In October 2010 he was winner of the Kissinger Piano Olympus.

Currently (2011) studied Abduraimov with Stanislav Ioudenitch in Kansas City (USA).
