Beitostølen

Beitostølen is a small Norwegian ski village in the municipality Øystre Slidre (county of Oppland ). Beitostølen located on the edge of the Jotunheimen Mountains at 900 meters above sea level. inst

Beitostølen has both an alpine ski area as well as many cross-country skiing; these are used in the hosting of the annual cross-country and biathlon World or European Cup. Beitostølen has about 300 inhabitants and numerous accommodations for tourists. It is one of the most popular ski resorts in Norway.
