Bel Air is the fourth studio album by the German rock band Guano Apes and the first album by the six - or eight -year hiatus.

Formation

After the band had played in the summer of 2009 at various festivals, six years after their separation, the first time back together, the new album on the Tuborg Green Festival Festival in Bucharest was announced. 15 months after the reunification appeared on April 1, 2011, the first album since 2003. 's First single Oh What a Night was played from 18 January in the radio. The album debuted after its release straight to number one in the German charts.

Music style

With less crossover and more synthesizers and electro elements, Bel Air borders distinctly from its predecessors. With more pop elements, the Guano Apes remove this from the alternate style of their last three albums.

" [ ... ] But to draw the bow into the Now, after all that has happened with us, of course, is not quite so simple. If I were a fan, I would also irritate. "
