Belgian Olympic Committee

The Belgian Olympic and Inter Federal Committee (abbreviation: BoIK, French: Comité olympique Belgian Inter-Federal, ndl. Belgian Olympic Comité Interfederaal s ) is the National Olympic Committee of Belgium. It was founded in 1906, the organization's headquarters in Brussels.

Organization

Some sports are represented in BoIK by up to four different, organized partly regional member associations (such as the German, French and Flemish-speaking communities as well as at the federal level ), such as the ski by the Federation Francophone Belge de Ski, the East Belgian ski and winter sports federation, the Vlaamse Ski en Snowboard Federatie and by the Royal Belgian Ski Federation. Other sports are represented by a single pan- Belgian association about the football by the Royal Belgian Football Association.

Jacques Rogge was 1989-1992 President of the Belgian Olympic and Inter Federal Committee.
