Bella Bayliss

Bella Bayliss ( born 1 November 1977 in Norwich as Bella Comerford ) is a former Scottish duathlete, triathlete, World Champion on the Triathlon Long Distance (2006) and multiple Ironman champion (2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 ).

Career

Bella Comerford started as a teenager in Tetrathlon (swimming, running, shooting, horse riding ), alternated with 17 years for the first time from his horse on the bike and competed in her first triathlon. Since 2000, as a professional athlete, active they started in 2002 for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games 2002 in Salford Triathlon - along with Stephanie Forrester and Catriona Morrison. In November 2006, Comerford was Triathlon World Champion on the long distance in Australia.

Since November 2008, with the British triathlete Stephen Bayliss married, Bella Bayliss now lives in Switzerland in Leysin. The multiple Ironman winner is professional athlete, she started up in 2010 for four years in TeamTBB and was trained by Brett Sutton.

In January 2011, Belly Bayliss announced that she is expecting her first child in the summer and take a break from competition. In May 2012, she celebrated her comeback with a second place at Ironman Lanzarote and in England she won in September 2013 at the Challenge Henley-on -Thames on the long distance.

She explained her professional career in September 2013 for stops and starts since then only at competitions over the short or middle distance.
