Bella Vista is a village in the department of Maldonado in Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the area of ​​Maldonado Department in its sector 5 The Río de la Plata coastal town of Bella Vista is located near the border of Canelones and occupies a roughly three mile stretch of coastline. Edged the place is west of the seaside resort Solís, by which it is separated by the opening out of Arroyo de las Espinas ( Arroyo Espinas ), and east of Las Flores. The eastern city limits is the Arroyo Las Flores. Nearest towns in the hinterland are Cerros Azules and Estación Las Flores.

History

The area on which there is the present town, was originally Jorge Aznares, an entrepreneur and operator of the company Rausa purchased. First settlers Bella Vistas were 1930 workers of this company. This was followed by the establishment of the inn La Boja, which now represented the center of the village. In the area subsequently resulted in cottages and Bella Vista thus became the resort.

Infrastructure

Bella Vista, at the entrance there is a large red buoy bearing the imprint Bienvenidos a Bella Vista, located on the Ruta 10, which simultaneously forms on the coast of the Rambla. Bella Vista had 2011 141 inhabitants, of which 69 male and 72 female.
